Since I was a kid, my fascination for knives led me to collect them, and learn how to use them and take care of them. I’ve always felt that knives are more than mere tools, and when I started making them in 2018, I sought to express myself through steel. The idea of knives as a way of human expression always accompanies me when I am creating a new piece. Orquídea Knives Company is not a factory, but a sanctuary where I explore new ways to interpret knife making. Each one of my pieces is unique, handmade, and designed to undertake the most extreme tasks.

Desde muy pequeño, mi fascinación por los cuchillos y navajas me llevó a coleccionar piezas únicas, y a aprender a usarlas y cuidarlas. Siempre he tenido la sensación de que un cuchillo es más que una herramienta, y cuando empecé a fabricarlos en el año 2018, busqué expresarme a través del acero. La idea del cuchillo como expresión humana siempre me acompaña cuando estoy fabricando una pieza. Orquídea Knives Company no es una fábrica, sino un santuario donde exploro nuevas maneras de interpretar la cuchillería. Cada una de mis piezas es única, hecha a mano, y diseñada para sobrevivir las más tenaces pruebas.
